WHAT IS OZONE THERAPY?

Ozone is a naturally occurring colorless gas made up of three oxygen atoms, and it can be used during a number of procedures to disinfect the treated area. The use of ozone therapy can also improve the body’s intake and use of oxygen, which activates the immune system and helps with the healing process. When it comes to cavities and decay, ozone has preventive properties that make the therapy advantageous when delivered into root canals after the cleaning, shaping and irrigation process.
